PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mary Ann Schicketanz is the principal of Studio Schicketanz. A native of Austria, Mary Ann brings a European sensibility to the practice of sustainable building and design. She is a leader in the integration of green design principles with strong thematic design concepts. She is known for her designs that offer classic simplicity, natural elegance, efficient floor plans and easy flow.

Mary Ann has practiced architecture in Germany before immigrating to the US in 1987. Her work is widely published and she frequently speaks on green design principles and the use of sustainable materials.

Since 1987, she has been specializing in the design of custom homes along the California Coast and Hawaii as well as cultural and commercial projects in the Sacramento area.
